You can spend a whole day between Castelli and Navigli, starting from Cusago with the first stop in Trezzano sul Naviglio to visit the Church of Sant’Ambrogio. We cross the Naviglio Grande on the Ponte Gobbo (bridge) and peek into the Corte Certosina (Carthusian court) and the Corte Salterio, which are two ex-convents. Along the Naviglio Grande we reach the Castle of Abbiategrasso, a building widely used by thousands of people who visit the library inside. We visit the manor there and have lunch in a typical restaurant (or packed). After lunch, we continue towards Vigevano where a splendid Piazza Ducale welcomes us, just as it once was. After a guided tour of one of the largest castles in Italy, we return to Cusago at 18:00.
